A charming escape with stunning views
The location was perfect, offering breathtaking sea views and convenient parking, which is a rarity in Scarborough. Each morning, we enjoyed an exquisite breakfast that felt tailored just for us.
Our room was on the top floor, and the absence of a lift made lugging our bags a bit cumbersome.

my stay at phoenix court was almost pleasant, if not for the terrible cleanliness. black hairs everywhere, and a rude reception lady accusing us of noise. i even expected a complimentary gesture for my troubles but none! really disappointing. i almost thought about leaving a good review, but just couldn’t.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful the honesty fridge was a thoughtful addition for convenience.
Steep stairs might be a challenge for some guests occasional issues with room decor stood out.

Best breakfast ever!
Mike makes these mind-blowing eggs and the bacon is next level. The view from our room on the third floor was a real highlight too. Just a heads up tho, no lift, so pack light if you're not up for stairs!

Stair access could pose significant challenges for anyone with mobility issues!!! A notable lack of mini-fridges in rooms for personal convenience during stays!!! Inconsistent room quality leads to uncertainty !!! The hotel decor is in dire need of a refresh!!!

We had a canny time here, especially the sea view from our king room—just mint to wake up to! Breakfast was spot on as well, with fab portions and those eggs, man! Just a bit of a trek up the stairs with bags but canny worth it!

we had an amazing stay at phoenix court! it’s perfectly located close to the cliffs, making our walks to the sea front super easy. the room was very clean and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious with a great variety. the owners were incredibly welcoming and made sure to accommodate my allergies, which was really appreciated.
